Mapping the limits of the soul 10: Sky Blue Sky

N 17 degrees 22.931′ W 168 degrees 05.038′

Today was totally calm and super blue on the Pacific with tropical airs and lovely sunshine!!

I played the mandolin; pirate shanties were flowing!!

Chip gave me a haircut on the back deck with my bare clippers. Getting a haircut on a heaving deck is an experience fraught with the need for zen acceptance of consequences!! Any time someone giving you a haircut says ‘Oh my God!’ you know you are in for a good, probably uneven, trim!! We had a couple of those jelly belly giggling moments! But Chip, after years in the Marines, pulled it off!

Tomorrow, we dive on Johnston, after arriving in the middle of the night! Land!

When there, we will be sending a whole lot of cat food and insecticide ashore to kill off a plague of ants they are experiencing. Weird!

Sunset calls!
